Second Chance Prom!

Forsyth County Chapter Celebrates 20 Years at Annual

Second Chance Prom

 The Forsyth County Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of

 North Carolina recently celebrated a remarkable milestone during its

 annual Second Chance Prom, marking 20 years of fellowship, community

 involvement, and service.

 The event brought together members, friends, and supporters to

 celebrate the chapter's accomplishments over the past two decades. A

 highlight of the evening was the recognition of four dedicated charter

 members whose commitment and leadership helped establish and

 strengthen the chapter from its beginning.

 Special plaques were presented to:

 * Rosie Bethea

 * Easter McCall

 * Tonya Patterson

 * Howard Patterson

 These individuals were honored for their years of service, dedication,

 and contributions to the success and growth of the Forsyth County Chapter.

 Also in attendance were NFB of North Carolina Affiliate President

 Sharon Weddington and Forsyth County Chapter President Angela Haynes,

 who joined members in celebrating this important anniversary. Their

 presence helped make the occasion even more meaningful as attendees

 reflected on the chapter's history and looked forward to its future.

 The annual Second Chance Prom continues to be one of the chapter's

 most anticipated events, providing an opportunity for members and

 guests to enjoy an evening of fun, friendship, and celebration. This

 year's event was especially memorable as it honored the legacy of

 those who helped build the chapter and recognized the positive impact

 the organization has had in the community for the past 20 years.

 Congratulations to the Forsyth County Chapter on this significant

 achievement, and best wishes for many more years of success, advocacy,

 and service.
